Electrical work completed! Plus more photos?!

As the heading suggests all our electrical work was started and completed today! This includes light switches, PowerPoints, data points, bayonets, telephone line, alarm, door bell and intercom! They sure were busy today!! :) All of out taps were installed plus both the toilets! Yesterday saw the finish of the painting and the garage doors being added! It really looks like a house! We love it! Here are a few pics!

    All things fine. Light fitting was just been amazing. These photos are amazing. Shower and other bathroom fittings are also looking good.

Ok, I have been super slack and have not updated the blog in a long time! Sorry! :) So for all those harassing me here is an update for you. :) In the last hmmmm weeks perhaps months since I have updated this, lots has happened! :) 1. All cornices, door frames, walls, skirtings, and window surrounds have been installed. 2. The kitchen has been installed 3. The kitchen has been tiled. 4. Both bathroom have been tiled and vanities/ vanitys ? installed. :) 5. The exterior of the house has been painted 6. The interior of the house has been painted. See, lots has been done! :) I still drive by daily and have met a few neighbours :) We have the electrics to be done, and the carpet and tiler are booked in for next Monday! :) It's all happening so fast! :) We work in school weeks and were originally told week 8 ( Tue) then it rained for 2 weeks so it has been pushed back until week 10 ( We have just started week 5). They seem to be flying through so who knows it may be earlier than expecte...

Reo, Slab, Plumbers and a huge pile of gold... ( I mean dirt!)

Hi everyone, Sorry for the delay in keeping this blog updated! A few different things have happen since then. 1. The plumbers put in our plumbing drain/ hole things in all the wet areas. After that the reinforcement and waffle pods were laid. To quote Tom ' what the hell are waffle pods?’ Well waffle pods are big foam box looking things they put down before they lay the concrete. This is a cheaper option as they don't need to use as much concrete. Apparently you need to be careful if you jack your car up in the garage as the concrete might crack! Oh well! We didn't have an option waffle pods are standard these days and I guess they have been working for many others! 2. After they laid the reinforcement and waffle pods they then poured the slab. Hooray for a slab, it now looks more like a house then a patch of dirt! :) It's a nice looking slab! (Ok slightly bias!) 3. Yesterday the plumbers came and did something!
