Driveway and carpet

This week has seen our tiles completed, carpet laid and driveway and alfresco concreted.

The bank is having a inspection this Thursday and PRC next week!! Not long now!!!

    Its better carpet and driveway. It seems like better finishing made it perfect.

Handover on TUESDAY!!!

All going to plan with the Bank we are due to have handover on Tuesday!! :) Woo hooo!!! It's so exciting! Tom got a call today from our site supervisor who informed us of this and made our day! :) The last of the carpet was laid today, tiles all cleaned and the driveway alfersco washed and made to look heaps better! :) Oh and when we were there this afternoon a man came and took away our Portaloo! Bye bye Loo! :) Very exciting times for us! :) YAY!

WOW Talk about progress!

Ok, I have been super slack and have not updated the blog in a long time! Sorry! :) So for all those harassing me here is an update for you. :) In the last hmmmm weeks perhaps months since I have updated this, lots has happened! :) 1. All cornices, door frames, walls, skirtings, and window surrounds have been installed. 2. The kitchen has been installed 3. The kitchen has been tiled. 4. Both bathroom have been tiled and vanities/ vanitys ? installed. :) 5. The exterior of the house has been painted 6. The interior of the house has been painted. See, lots has been done! :) I still drive by daily and have met a few neighbours :) We have the electrics to be done, and the carpet and tiler are booked in for next Monday! :) It's all happening so fast! :) We work in school weeks and were originally told week 8 ( Tue) then it rained for 2 weeks so it has been pushed back until week 10 ( We have just started week 5). They seem to be flying through so who knows it may be earlier than expecte...

Clean up, shower screens, mirrors, door handles and mirrors robes!!

Today saw all the door gain door handles. The front door a tri lock gold handle and thingy on the bottom! ( not sure what they are called!) Mirrors and shower screens were added to both bathrooms will toilet roll holders and towel racks!! :) mirrored doors were added to our built Ins and the whole house was given a clean. Windows and bathrooms are now clean and sparkle!! We were locked out again, so pictures are from the outside! We are meeting the tiler tomorrow ( tile the hallways and great room) at the crack of dawn to discuss options. He will be done by Wednesday and Thursday the carpet is being laid!! Super fast progress yet again!! :)
